A polished terrazzo floor is slippery when wet, and that is a property of the polish rather than of the stone. A honed or matt cement-bound floor is not, which is why wet areas are specified matte. The figure that matters is the wet rating, and it has to be quoted for the finish being supplied rather than for terrazzo in general. Full answer

Specify the finish rather than treating the floor afterwards. In the United States the number to ask for is a wet DCOF of 0.42 or higher, which is the accepted threshold under ANSI A326.3 for a level interior floor that will be walked on wet. A honed or matte terrazzo is not slippery; a polished one is.
How this is actually asked
These are the phrasings people typed, not headings we invented. Where one
has an answer the link is live; where it does not it is printed plain, and
that is deliberate — a printed question with nothing behind it is an
honest promise, and hiding it is not.
